What began as a personal interest grew into something bigger. Building relationships with gem dealers, cutters, and craftsmen in Thailand and around the world became the foundation for a more personal way to discover exceptional gemstones and create custom jewelry.

Thailand is one of the world’s great centers for gemstones, cutting, and jewelry craftsmanship. By developing direct relationships with dealers, cutters, and craftsmen, we can search beyond the ordinary and discover stones with exceptional color, character, and potential.
For us, sourcing is not simply about finding inventory. It is about knowing where to look, who to trust, and recognizing the right stone when you see it.

A Personal Passion. A New Chapter
Tull’s Gem Co. was founded by Kris Tull from a lifelong appreciation for gemstones, jewelry, travel, and the people behind the craft.
That connection to jewelry actually began years ago. In high school, Kris learned the fundamentals of silversmithing and silver soldering, creating jewelry by hand. Life eventually took him in another direction, but the fascination with stones and craftsmanship never completely disappeared.
Now, that early interest has come full circle. Tull’s Gem Co. is a return to the stones, the craftsmanship, and the creative process, with a new purpose: finding remarkable gemstones and helping turn them into exceptional pieces made for other people.
This is still the beginning of the story, and that is exactly what makes it exciting.
